Rosalie More

Rosalie More comes from a family of artists, all self-taught. She began accumulating awards for her watercolor art in the 1970’s as a member of the Southern Oregon Society of Artists. During the 1980’s, as a member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon, she won the Bronze, the Silver, and the Gold Certificates of Merit Awards for Outstanding Achievement.  She was also the recipient of Milford Zornes’ Special Award, the Winter Burrow Award and the Maxine Masterfield Award.  Her works have been displayed at the State Capitol Building in Salem, OR, the Hult Center in Eugene, OR, and the Benton County Historical Museum. For many years, she owned the Spectrum of Arts Gallery in Ashland, Oregon. Her works of art are included in more than 150 private and corporate collections.  After moving to Nevada, Rosalie developed a passion for photographing the natural world and the wildlife that inhabits it.
