Nevada Day Show
2017 NAA Judged  ~  Open to all area artists

ENTRY DATE:          Saturday, October, 21, 10 am-2 pm
PICKUP DATE:         Saturday, January 6, 2018 10 am-2 pm
OPEN HOUSE RECEPTION:  Sunday November 5th 1:00 – 4:00 pm
ENTRY FEES:   Members–$10 for first entry, $5 for each additional entry
Non-members–$20 for first entry, $10 for each additional entry

w  Dry Media (Pencil, Charcoal, Pen & Ink, etc)  w  Other
Limit of three entries per entrant.  Two may be photography.
Entries may be of any subject. Additional restrictions may apply (see below)
There must be at least 5 entries for a category to be judged.

AWARDS:    Spirit of Nevada $50
Best of Show $100
First Place $50
Second Place $30
Third Place $20
People’s Choice $50
Honorable Mention will be Ribbons only
The Pat Holub Award will be awarded $25 and the winner
will have their name engraved on a perpetual plaque in the Gallery.

RESTRICTIONS:    Limit of three entries per entrant.  Two may be photography.
Entries may be of any subject.
Artwork must not have been shown in a previously NAA judged show.  You cannot enter pieces in consecutive shows.  If you have a piece in the previous show, you cannot enter it in the Nevada Day show. Entries may not be more than 48 inches in any direction.  Mats & frames must be clean and free of nicks and scratches.  Artwork must be properly wired for hanging.  If the artwork does not meet the requirements or is deemed in bad taste, it will be juried out.  The Show Committee has the final decision.

SITTING:   The NAA Gallery is a co-op.  All Members entering a show are responsible for sitting three 3-hour shifts per show.  But, if they cannot sit, they can pay $10.00 for each sitting shift they cannot fulfill. Members who sign up to sit and then cannot sit, must find their own replacement. If you can’t find anyone to sit your shift, call the Gallery Director. If you don’t find a replacement and you don’t call the Gallery Director, the Gallery will have to close during that time and you will still owe a $10 sitting fee.

SALES:   All sales will be handled by NAA who will be responsible for collecting sales tax.  25% of the sales price will be retained by the gallery.
