I was an elementary school teacher for 28 years in central Nevada. After I retired from teaching I took a couple of art courses at WNC and found a hidden talent and a new hobby that I enjoy.  I like to keep busy with volunteer activities and painting.

I’m fairly new to painting. After a little over a year, I consider myself an intermediate painter. I think I’m more of a realist. I enjoy painting landscapes, florals, and I’ve also tried some animals. I enjoy the watercolor medium. I’ve done chalk pastels in drawing class, but I prefer the paints.
