I have always been inspired by nature and my passion intensified when I used to organize Adventure trips to Galapagos Islands and Machu Picchu, and Papua New Ghinea and Australia. My photographs of the trip adventures inspired people to join the adventure. My horse riding passion also lead me to paint portraits of horses and recently colorful scenes of horses on silk.
I have a bachelors degree in textile Chemistry, as well as degree in film and television recently. My mediums have evolved over time from acrylic , oil, watercolor  ,and encaustics to painting on silk.
I have moved from Santa Cruz Mountains to Carson City area and enjoy exploring nature, and riding my horse as well as sharing my art with my community. I convert my original paintings to 5×7 blank note cards to share and they can be viewed at @Motamedi.Shahla on Instagram.
