Every painting is a poem
That I wish to send to you
The words are on my lips

Late in life, I discovered my talents. To be precise 2014 was a big year.
I married the love of my life Ed and my very first poem was published in the “Nevada Appeal” with my own column soon to follow “Jenny’s Talk about Town.” I also took my first watercolor class. It was a bonus year!
I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Arizona State. I lived in Lake Tahoe for 32 years and moved to Carson City in 2004.
I began my art journey in that watercolor class with many paintings and awards to follow. I’m basically self-taught. I also have watercolor cards for sale in the Gallery as well. However, I branched out and grew into other mediums: oils, acrylics and mixed media.
I love the challenges of mixed media as sometimes it is a surprise where it will lead you. I also have been commissioned to do many pet portraits as well as florals for people.
I’m a member of the “Nevada Artist Association” where I have won awards in the shows. I have participated in the “Open Studio Home Tours” as well as the “Silver State Art Festival.”
My spirit reflects the power of the pen and the creativity of the brush!
