Based in Carson Valley, C.D. (Cindy) White gains inspiration for her art from Native American culture, Western heritage, and the natural beauty of northern Nevada. Her home studio contains not only her own art, but fine examples from some of the most well-known artists of the West — Charlie Russell, Frederic Remington, Maynard Dixon and many more. Inspired by these great artists, C.D. takes her art in a new direction, one that reflects the New West and the strong personal beliefs that she holds dear. This is art that celebrates the beauty and spiritual power of women, animals and nature.

C.D.’s artistic expression has taken many different forms throughout the years — as a freelance writer, published poet, musician and songwriter. But it is here, in the visual arts, where she finds the greatest reward and satisfaction.
