“Moments in the Fall: Photographing the Fall Colors”

Join Heather Nicole for an immersive Photography Workshop. You will learn how to use your camera to
create beautiful images of the Fall foliage, and so much more!

When:    October 13th, 9am -12pm
Where:   NAA Gallery, 449 W. King St, Carson City
Cost:      NAA Members – $45.00    
              Non-members – $55.00  
     Ages 13+

Description: The class will begin indoors with a short introduction, during which Heather will demonstrate her tools and tricks. Then, the class will go outdoors to take their own photos using the information Heather presented. Heather will be with them to give them individual help. After 1.5 hours, the class will meet again inside to show and critique everyone’s photos.

**Before You Come to Class: Know how to access the following settings: ISO, Aperture (a.k.a. f/stop), Shutter Speed (i.e. 1/100). You will be learning what these settings do in the workshop so knowing how to access and adjust them will ensure you are prepared for the day.

Heather Nicole has always been passionate about wildlife and nature. From a young age, she has been interested in photography, and her lens has naturally been focused on the wild. Her enthusiasm for photography led her into the darkroom, then working at a portrait studio, and eventually into the digital
photography landscape. She has won multiple awards in local, regional and international photo
