Living and working in six different countries has given me a global perspective and many various friendships. Working with the poor has helped me to see the humble part of life. Being a progressive ordained clergy for 40 years helps me grasp the spiritual dimension.
My watercolor painting is untrained and unpolished. Largely it follows religious and spiritual themes and daily life from Southeast Asia and incorporates traditional styles from that region. Each year I return to Indonesia and paint.
